SoundWave will be performing a 3-hour set at the Kahului Ale House on Monday, March 8 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.  This is an audition and if it goes well we hope to play here on a regular basis.  So come out and join us!

SoundWave Performing at The Green Banana Cafe in Paia

SoundWave's next performance at The Green Banana Cafe in Pa'ia will be Friday, December 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  


For those who haven't been to see us play here...this is a great, laid-back venue.  We set up outdoors on a large covered lanai and it becomes a big street party with visitors and locals alike drifting in off the street to groove to the music.  Come join us!

SoundWave Performance at The Maui Arts & Cultural Center First Light Cinema

SoundWave will play a one hour set of classic surf rock tunes at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Tuesday, December 1 at 6:15 PM for the Maui Film Festival Candlelight Theater audience.

Two outstanding new surf movies will be featured that evening: "The Drifter" and "Dear & Yonder".

SoundWave will be performing live on the air on Mana’o Radio’s Club Mana’o program on Sunday, November 29 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM!!!

Tune us in if you can at 91.5 FM or online at www.manaoradio.com!!!

For those not on island or unavailable at that time, we will be recording this entire broadcast over the Internet and will archive it online to allow listening at any time after the event!

SoundWave had 'em rockin and dancing in the streets last night at The Green Banana Cafe! It was our last performance before the band takes most of the month of September off, with two members (including me!) leaving the island for a few weeks.

SoundWave ROCKED Saturday night at The Green Banana Cafe! Mahalo to all the friends who came out to support us! We even had a couple of celebrities in the audience...former Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa and his wife, as well as former NBA Basketball Coach Don Nelson were diggin it! We'll be back at The Green Banana again in two weeks on Saturday, August 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM to do it all over again!

SoundWave spent several hours during the past two days locked up in the studio forced to play music. We hope that this imprisonment will result in a GREAT new CD!

Aloha all

SoundWave will be performing for a private party in Kula Saturday night for approximately 100 people!

We will perform at The Green Banana Cafe in Paia again the following Saturday night, July 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

SoundWave and the Hula Hoops

Well this was a first! There was a woman at our performance last night at The Green Banana Cafe with 2 hula hoops twirling and swaying with them in time to our music. At one point she did it using her legs while lying on her back! She was right behind me so I wasn't able to watch it much but I did catch a few glimpses.

We had a great appreciative audience and of course we'll be right back there again on Saturday July 25th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. We'll be juggling the playlist so we won't be doing all the same songs as we did last night.

In the meantime, we have a private party to play at next Saturday the 18th that we're getting ready for.

SoundWave literally had them dancing in the streets last night at the Green Banana Cafe! AND we were asked to return to the Green Banana again on July 11 and 25 both from 6:00-8:00 PM!!

Hey, we had an awesome performance at The Green Banana Cafe last night! We rocked the house! And we get to do it all again next week!

Next SoundWave performance is Sunday, June 28 from 6:00-8:00 PM again at The Green Banana Cafe! We’ll be playing tunes from the remainder of our repertoire of Rock n’ Roll, Blues, Latin, and Jazz. You’ve never heard SoundWave like this before!

This will be part of the first annual Paia Fest event from 12-10pm. Nowhere else can you find a line up of entertainment like the one planned for you by the town of Paia. Over twenty music acts and dozens of local artists and vendors are providing family friendly entertainment that also will benefit the Maui Food Bank, the Dharma Center, Maui Breast Cancer Fund, and Mana’o Radio.
